Invictus Karaya Wiliam ernest henly
Out of the right that, covers me
Black as the pit from pole to pole
I thank what ever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud
Under the bluggeonings of chance
My head is bloody but unbowed
Betond thie place of wrath and tears
Looms but the horror of the shade
And yet the menace of the years
Find and shall find, me unafraid
It matters not how strait the gate
How charged with punishments the scroll
I am the master of my fate
I am tha captain of my soul
Still I Rise Karya Maya Angelou
You my write me down in history
With your bitter twisted lies
You may tread me in the very dirt
But still like l’ll rise
Does my sassines upset you?
Whya are you beset with glomm?
Cause i walk like l’ve got oil wells
Pumping in my living room
Just like moons and like suns
White the certainty oftides
Just like hopes spiringing high
Still l’ll rise
Did you want too see me broken?
Bowed head and lowered eyes?
Shoulders falling down like teardrops
Weakened by my soulful cries
Does my haughtiness offend you?
Don’t you take it awful hard
Cause i laugh like l’ve got gold mines
Diggin in my own back yard
You may shoot me whit your words
You may cut me whit ypur eyes
You may kill me with your hatefulness
Butt still like l’ll rise
Does my sexiness upset you?
Does it come as a surprise
That i dance like l’ve got diamonts
At the meeting of my thighs?
Out of the huts of history shame
I rise
Up from a past that’s roteed in pain
I rise
I’m a bacvk ocean leaping and wide
Welling and swelling i bear in the tide
Leaving behind nights of terros and fear
I rise
Into a day break that’s wondrously clear
I rise
Bringing the gifts that my ancestors gave
I am the dream and the hope of the slave
I rise
Irise
I rise
Touched by an angel Karya Maya Angelou
We unaccustomed to courage
Exiles from delight
Live coiled in shells of loneliness
Until love leaves it’s high holy temple
And come into our sight
To liberate us into life
Love arrives
And in its train come ecstacies
Old memories of pleasure
Ancient histories of pain
Yet if we are bold
Love srikes away the chains of fear
From our souls
We are weaned from our timidity
In the flush of love’s light
We dare be brave
And suddenly we see
That love cost all we are
And will ever be
Yet is only love
Which sets us free
